This is your chance to sing your heart out to the Disney songs of your childhood such as Be our Guest, Belle, Gaston and not forgetting favourite, Beauty and The Beast. Sing along with Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson in this romantic fairy tale and see if you can stop those tears at the end.
Our Singalonga host will start with a pre-show where they will warm up your voices, teach you some hand actions, show you how to use the famous Singalonga props bag during the film, when to Boo the arrogant Gaston and of course judge the fancy dress competition!
For those of you who have been abandoned somewhere on a desert island and don’t know the story… Belle (Emma Watson), a bright, beautiful and independent young woman, is taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens) in its castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the beast’s hideous exterior, allowing her to recognize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides on the inside.
So some along and celebrate this “tale as old as time”, dress as your favourite character and get ready to feel part of a real fairytale.

THE TIME MACHINE
Thursday 15th March 7.45pm, The Hawth Studio Crawley
Written and directed by Elton Townend Jones Performed by Stephen Cunningham
Produced by Rebecca Vaughan
From Dyad Productions, the creators of Austen’s Women, Jane Eyre: An Autobiography, Dalloway, The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe, Female Gothic, I, Elizabeth, The Diaries of Adam and Eve, and Christmas Gothic.
The Time Machine: 2018: In this age of uncertainty, where the shadows of tyranny, intolerance and war darken the path into tomorrow, how much time do we have left? If civilisation falls today, what will become of us? In Dyad Productions’ topical and incisive re-invention of HG Wells’s classic, a Victorian time traveller transcends across the ages from 1900 to our own far future – from the fall of man to the end of the world – discovering the fate of our endeavours and uncovering our darkest fears. Can we change the future? Or has the end already begun? A philosophical journey, a nightmare adventure, a cautionary tale – this is the story of us all.
Dyad Productions creates, produces and tours classic theatre with an innovative and contemporary emphasis. This stage adaptation of HG Wells’s classic novel is Dyad’s ninth original production in as many years, and premiered at Assembly Edinburgh in August 2017 to great critical and commercial success. Previous works, Austen’s Women, I, Elizabeth, The Diaries of Adam and Eve, Female Gothic, The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe, Dalloway and Jane Eyre: An Autobiography were all five-star successes at Edinburgh between 2009-2017 and all nine productions continue to tour across the UK and internationally. The Diaries of Adam and Eve was published in 2013 (by StageScripts) and The Unremarkable Death of Monroe in 2016 (by Samuel French). Dyad Productions is Rebecca Vaughan and Elton Townend Jones.

THAT’S LIFE –
THE FRANK SINATRA STORY
Saturday 17th March, 7.30pm, The Hawth Crawley
On the 60th anniversary of the release of Frank Sinatra’s Come Fly With Me and his performance in High Society next to Grace Kelly, this is a one of a kind theatre show celebrating the life story of the legendary singer and it comes to Crawley on Saturday 17th March.
That’s Life – The Frank Sinatra Story commemorates the incredible life and music of Frank Sinatra, taking audiences through the timeline of ups and downs that made him the historic musical figure that he is today – from big band singer to international superstar and now, an icon.
Creator and co-producer Frank Cognoscenti performs the icon’s impressive songbook, whilst exploring his famous life story. Frank has been singing as Sinatra for over 15 years and during that time he has performed on BBC’s The One Show and Good Morning Britain, and has also performed in front of many high – profile celebrities, including Simon Cowell.
Frank is very passionate about this new show. He says: “I felt it was time to create a show that was dedicated to the man himself. As a true fan, this is a dream come true for me to be able to create a show which combines Sinatra’s full and incredible life story, with 40 handpicked master pieces from his impressive songbook. We have worked hard to recreate the exact sound of the original arrangements using a full orchestra for our studio recordings, as well as using the original recordings and concert performances as reference and inspiration.”
The show touches on events in Sinatra’s life and recreates many important points in his career, such as The Frank Sinatra Show in 1952 with Louis Armstrong, The Royal Festival hall concerts in 1962 and 1970, the Live at the Sands concert in 1965, The Sinatra & Jobim TV Special in 1967 and many more memorable moments.
“I want the audience to enjoy and sing along to the classics, as well as hear some rarely performed gems. We want people to go away having seen the great details of Sinatra’s challenging but incredible life” adds Frank. “This is quite a large-scale production, with an incredible amount of thought and hard work, out of love and respect for Sinatra. This is like no other Sinatra Show that has toured before.”
Tickets priced £23 are available from The Hawth Box Office on 01293 553636 and www.hawth.co.uk.

– Rhythm of the Night
Friday 23rd March at 7.30pm
Strictly Come Dancing dance professionals Ian Waite and 2016 finalist Oti Mabuse are joining forces to embark on a 60-date tour of the UK with their new stage show, which they will be bringing to The Hawth Crawley on Friday 23rd March at 7.30pm.
An Audience With Ian Waite and Oti Mabuse – Rhythm of the Night promises dance fans an extravaganza of high intensity Latin and Ballroom favourites in one thrilling evening designed to dazzle.
Ian and Oti always push the boundaries of dance to bring the best out of their celebrity partner, with both reaching the final of the hit BBC Saturday night show. Last season it was Oti who almost waltzed off with the Glitterball with her partner, Hollyoaks’ Danny Mac.
An Audience With is brought to audiences by the same team who presented the popular Somewhere In Time tour earlier this year, and during the evening dance enthusiasts will be transported away to a place packed with wonderful moments, with both fun-filled, fleet-footed entertainment and a chance to learn more about Ian and Oti and their lives.
And in addition to the stunning performances themselves, there are a limited number of premium tickets which include a meet-and-greet before the show where there is the chance to have your photograph taken with the stars and have your special souvenir programme signed.
Since hanging up his competitive Strictly dance shoes, Ian has become a firm favourite behind the scenes on Strictly Come Dancing’s It Takes Two programme with his own slot, Waite’s Wednesday Warm-Up – during which he casts his expert eye over the weekly progress of the celebrities and their professional partners.
Ian began dancing aged 10 when he accompanied his younger brother to Saturday dance lessons at home in Reading, and was enticed onto the dancefloor for the very first time. Even then, it was clear to all that despite being in his school rugby and football teams, he was a born performer and dancer.
He went on to make it to the European Professional Latin Championships finals in 2003. His celebrity dance partners on Strictly Come Dancing have included singer Mica Paris, Olympian Denise Lewis, model Penny Lancaster-Stewart, model Jodie Kidd, and radio personality and television presenter Zoe Ball.
South African Oti is known for her breath-taking choreography, sparkling personality and amazing talent for creating fresh new pieces both on stage and television.
She started dancing at the tender age of four, and made a name for herself as the undefeated eight-times South African Latin American Champion, while at the same time studying civil engineering at university.
Oti then moved to Germany to start her International career as a professional dancer, becoming German Champion, Bronze Medallist at The World Championships and Vice European Champion – making her one of the most successful South African dancers in the world.
Taking her talents to the world of TV, she started on Let’s Dance – the German version of Strictly, before being invited to join the flagship BBC show where over two series she has cemented her place as one of the UK’s favourite professional dancers.
Tickets are priced at £27, £25 (child/over60: £1.50 off). Premium seats: extra £20. Tickets can be purchased from The Hawth Box Office on 01293 553636 or by visiting www.hawth.co.uk

Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace

Tuesday 27th – Saturday 31st March 7.30pm, Wed & Sat 2.30pm, The Hawth Crawley
Strictly superstars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace return to The Hawth stage with their most audacious and thrilling show yet, Tango Moderno. The production comes to Crawley from Tuesday 27th – Saturday 31st March.
Tango is the rhythm of the city, the heat of the streets and the pulse of life. Tango Moderno is the irresistible hot new stage spectacular from Vincent and Flavia: dance partners for over two decades, world champions, Strictly favourites and acclaimed West End stage stars, whose previous productions Midnight Tango, Dance Til Dawn and The Last Tango have all been acclaimed, sell-out hits.
Having originally intended The Last Tango to be their farewell tour, Flavia commented:
“As we were creating our last show, we developed a number of new routines with so much raw choreography. It was thrilling to still be discovering new numbers for Vincent and I to dance, but we just couldn’t accommodate them in the production. We toured the country with the show and were overwhelmed by the support from our audiences and from people asking us to continue. Vincent and I spoke at the end of the tour and we decided that we wanted to continue; we love dancing together, we are having so much fun and a year after our last UK tour, we are more excited than ever to share this new work and show with our audiences.”The new production fuses together Ballroom, Latin, and Argentine tango to give you a performance that smoulders with desire. With classic steps, they create a Tango for today. Tango Moderno is a breath of fresh air, pulsating with life, energy and colour giving you the most exciting stage experience in years.
Tango Moderno is directed by Olivier Award winning choreographer and director Karen Bruce and produced by Adam Spiegel Productions (Motown The Musical, The Producers, Dance ‘Til Dawn, Midnight Tango, Love Me Tender).
