Local Heroes

This page is dedicated to all our local residents who are raising money for a charity of their choice. If you donate to a charity on regular basis or just as a one off, you might want to donate through one of our ‘Local Heroes’ to benefit them and their chosen charity.

Integrated Fire Solutions Are Raising Funds For Prostate Cancer

Intergrated Fire Solutions

28th September 2015

As a company, Integrated Fire Solutions have decided that this year the charity we are sponsoring is for Prostate Cancer. As such, we have sponsored The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in London, in which one of our Company Directors Simon Askew, is taking part.

Simon told us “did you know that about 1 in 8 men (13%) will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives? Did you know that if caught early enough, 9 in 10 prostate cancers can be cured? A big thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far!”

Please feel free to sponsor Simon and Integrated Fire Solutions on their mission to help this great charity but clicking here.

The event is in aid of Help our Wounded Royal Marines and Supporting Arms and I beg of you to share our page amongst family and friends and if you can also drop a few quid on our page, it will make the event more worthwhile and EVERY Penny raised WILL go to our wounded.

Thank you all that have donated to date and thank you all for your continued support. For those who have yet to and wish to support us with a donation please click here

This years 50-50 Yomp will be the 4th to date. A group of Help our Wounded supporters will Yomping (marching) from Brighton to Havant carrying weights of 50lb on their backs. All monies raised will go towards helping our wounded. Please support me and my team on their epic challenge. Thank you all.

  1. over the years i have a lot of press but none of my efforts have been solo affairs and some people step up to the plate time and time and time again
    to name just a few
Danny Dangerously – he has been with me from day one and has possibly played at 90% of the gigs , Ken Birch who works so hard behind the scenes , one in four, the nite b4s , rising tide , the rumor, the cats gash , viv cooper – rip , overline , the dalsarns , nineteen84 and so many people and bands from the crawley music scene i dont think there are many other groups of people in town who are constantly doing things to help those less fortunate than themselves

  2. These local heroes need recognition so they can be encouraged for there hard work. They give up time, petrol, money and as much of their resources they can not to mention their energy.Oxjam and Rock for heroes are just two examples of what these organisers and musicians have contributed to Crawley community and for the National charities.God bless them.

  3. I am so sorry to read about your loss Danny Ibrahim, I have much respect for you. Ronnie MacCrossen was my Uncle that I never had the pleasure to meet. I am Rosemary’s(Auntie Janet’s sister) Daughter Colleen and would love to get in touch with the family
