We beat off tough competition in the Public and Not for Profit category for our ground-breaking scheme, which was launched three years ago.
The Business Culture Awards recognise exceptional business culture, in particular initiatives that help persuade people to join organisations, and feel motivated and engaged enough to stay. They recognise how people’s experience of their job is fundamental to great business performance.
Simon Gosney, Head of Learning and Development, said, “This business culture award shows that social care in general, and Dimensions in particular, can be a great place to build a career. I’m so proud that all the hard work by a wonderful and collaborative team has been recognised.
We have now taken almost 250 colleagues on to Aspire, and the award judges particularly praised the measurable impact that Aspire has had on the lives of people we support as well as our colleagues. The programme was originally launched in response to suggestions in the 2014 colleague survey, so in a way this success belongs to everyone at Dimensions.”
