The Governing Bodies of NHS Crawley and NHS Horsham and Mid Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are set to discuss more efficient ways of working at the next meeting in common on 14th December 2017, 1.00pm – 4.00pm.
People are invited to attend the event at Broadfield Stadium, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 9RX and can submit questions to the board in advance. Governing Body members will also be available from 12.45pm to meet and greet the public.
NHS Horsham and Mid Sussex CCG Chair, Dr Minesh Patel, said: “As we continue working to ensure we are in the best position to commission high quality services, we’re now looking to build on the resources available to us. We continue to work towards a stronger financial position, making the best use of every NHS pound we spend to strengthen our capability.”
NHS Crawley CCG Acting Lay Chair, Peter Nicolson, said: “We are open and honest about the tough challenges we face and are working hard to make the most of the resources available to us and increasing these where possible.”
NHS Crawley and NHS Horsham and Mid Sussex CCGs continue to review all budget spend, providing a comprehensive recovery strategy for 2017/18, while maintaining patient care through new ways of working.
Governing Body members will also be reporting about the latest performance of local NHS services, including the care and treatment received at hospitals and in the community.
Time will be set aside for questions from members of the public, who are welcome to attend. People can also submit questions to the Governing Body in writing up to two days prior to the formal opening of the board meeting to receive a full written answer.
