Crawley Swimming Club had a successful first weekend of the Sussex County Championships at K2 Leisure Centre held on the 10th and 11th February 2018. The swimmers went from strength to strength while competing in races with clubs from around the county.
The Crawley team clearly demonstrated their improvement over the last few years and their power, and determination shone through with some amazing results. Ron Philpot Head Coach said “We had some amazing results, with great performances from all our swimmers, starting the championship with a stack of medals and Lifetime Best Times which is showing the improvements we have made. I could not be prouder of the team”
Crawley swimming club Team Produced 118 Personal Best Times, 27 Gold’s, 19 Silver, 15 Bronze Medals and 14 with Club Records for
Ali Nayebi: boys 50 & 100 Fly (12 Years age Group)
Dominik S: boys 200 & 400 IM (14-year age group)
George Hopkins: boys 200 Freestyle (17+ Age Group)
Keira N. girls 100 Breaststroke (13 Years age group)
Cameron Wrapson: boys 1500, 200 Free, 50,100 Fly 200 IM, 50 Backstroke & 100 Backstroke (11-year age group)
Katie Foss: girls 50 Breaststroke (10-year age group).
