Crawley Youth Activities Project
This is a dedicated night for young people who may not fit into mainstream youth clubs which has limited spaces. Membership can be gained via Connexions, Social Services, School or direct requests from parents. These sessions include:
Confidence and self esteem building
Safe space and support
Programmes chosen by the members
Wednesday 19.00 – 21.00
Freestyle Club
Much the same as the Monday activities but in a more relaxed environment including open mic performance areas. Children can sing, perform or play an instrument.
Thursday 19:00 – 21.00
Crawley Youth Theatre
Come along to improve or practice your acting skills including writing and producing skills. 13 – 16yrs Cost is £3.50.
Friday 17.30 – 19.30
PHAB Club
This is for young people with varying degrees of skills in cooking, art and music. DVDs and games can be played. The children guide their own time including cooking meals for the other attendees while watching a good film together. Pool, karaoke and pool are all practised on this evening.
Cost of all sessions are just £1 with exception of the Crawley Youth Theatre.
