Tykes presents …. A right royal do!   

Roll out the barrel, the old and the new, tykes community jubilee is coming to you.

Come and celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee with us – A day not to be missed, Fun for all the family.

We will be starting off the day with a Charity walk from Broadfield Football Stadium to Broadfield Community Centre, Dressed as royalty, to raise money for ‘Knowles Tooth’ a fantastic charity raising money for under privellaged famillies.

We will have a variety of table tops selling jewellery, handmade gifts, childrens toys/ books, tombola, bric-a-brac and much more. There will also be face painting, tattoos, hair design and nail painting.

Come along with you gorgeous dogs for our ‘Dog Show’, we will be judging on cutest dogs, waggiest tail and biggest smile!

There will be live bands performing throughout the day, a DJ as well as performances from pole dancers, street dancers, irish dancing and a tug-of-war competition!

Cool down with an ice cream, enjoy a nice cold beer from our licenced bar, visit our BBQ area or if you fancy it come and enjoy some ham and cucumber sandwiches in our High tea cafe.

The highlight of the day will be our Guinniss World Record Breaker attempt!!!

Be part of it….. We’re looking at getting 300+ people in one area all wearing decorated crowns to be featured in The Guinness Book of Records!!!

Pack up a picnic and enjoy a family day – bringing the community together and breaking records!!!

Autism Support Crawley

Our members come from such a variety of cultures and backgrounds,but we all have one thing in common – Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Our meetings are a time to get together with fellow parents and carers,to pick each other’s brains,but to also switch off from our 24/7 demands and relax. The group is currently undergoing a relaunch and it is our aim to have guest speakers in the coming months to discuss issues pertinent to us i.e behavioural problems,educational psychologists,benefits advice etc. We have a new email address which they can contact me on ‘casrh10@hotmail.co.uk’ also a facebook page ‘Autism Support Crawley.’

We currently meet the first Thursday of every month at the Children and Family Centre in Creasy’s Drive,Broadfield.

It’s scheduled to run from 7.30p.m to 9.15p.m.

Tea and coffee is provided. We suggest a £1 donation to the tea fund.
