ARMONICO CONSORT AND ORCHESTRA OF THE BAROQUE

Armonico Consort heads to The Hawth for the final concert celebrating its tenth anniversary. They perform with one of the world’s greatest violinists Nicola Benedetti performing Scarlatti’s Cantata Su Le Sponde, Bach’s Cantata No.51 Jauchzet Gott and Vivaldi’s Nulla in Pax, Violin Concerto RV208 and Vedro con mio diletto.

Armonico Consort has gained a reputation for staging innovative and imaginative programmes using movement and lighting for dramatic effect. It has appeared at major festivals across the UK and with internationally-acclaimed musicians. Recent reviews for concerts and recordings include five stars in The Times and The Independent.

Nicola Benedetti won the Classical BRIT Award for Young British Classic Performer in 2008 and has gone on to perform all over the works with some of the world’s best known orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic to name a few.

Also appearing will be the renowned trumpet virtuoso, Crispian Steele-Perkins and distinguished soprano Eloise Irving.
