Gatwick Computers Ltd

We are a new company changing the way you, the customer can resolve all those annoying PC/Laptop problems and equipment needs.

Quote Crawley Happy Times to  claim your 10% discount.

We accept all Major Credit & Debit Cards

Gatwick Computers offer anything from

  1. A simple equipment service. This involves a clean-up of the interior, dust removal, checking for pending parts failures, virus checks and advice on the positioning of your computer equipment in order to achieve the best performance.
  2. Up to and including the design, procurement and installation of your small business needs.

When your Computer develops a fault!

Firstly the big question – “What am I going to do?” You may ask friends, search the Internet or other media. When you contact a PC repair company they generally say, “Yes fine, bring it in we will have a look”. You undo the cables, transport it to the repair center and you have to wait. Then its back to pick it up and bring it home. (Then to connect it all back up?)

We aim to do things differently. We will come to you! Give us a call and we will arrive (Pre booked, on-time and with identification), Inspect the equipment and after advice and discussion, offer you the best solution balancing both cost effectiveness and your processing needs. You will receive a free, no obligation quote valid for 14 days. (This is due to varying costs a volatility of the market)

“I want something more up to date”

Again, we will come to you. Look at the present setup and discuss what you will be your main uses and your budget restraints then we will advise the best way forward for you. It doesn’t always mean spending all of your hard earned money on a new PC when you may have what you need in order to upgrade to better performance.

ROBIN’S WINTER ADVENTURE

Sunday 21st & Monday 22nd December, The Hawth Studio Crawley
Sunday 2pm, Monday 11am & 2pm

Image RWA copyno title1

Celebrating 30 years of creating and performing top quality children’s theatre, The Pied Piper Theatre Company is back at The Hawth with its latest enchanting show, Robin’s Winter Adventure

Robin’s Winter Adventure tells the story of a young boy’s courage as he faces the challenge of moving from his cosy village to the hustle and bustle of London. It’s a heart warming tale told with rhythm and rhyme, music and song and captivating puppets. With a professional cast and an imaginative set, Robin’s Winter Adventure is a brilliantly scripted show and a perfect introduction to the magic of live theatre.

Inviting children to embark on an exciting theatrical journey is both a joy and a terror for any theatre actor as children can be the harshest of critics or the most generous of audiences. The fact that The Pied Piper Theatre Company has continued to delight children, and their families, so successfully over the past 30 years speaks volumes for the skill it has in delivering shows that directly engage and entertain young theatregoers.

The Pied Piper Theatre Company was formed in 1984 by actor and artistic director, Tina Williams. Believing passionately that children should experience the very best of live theatre, the company takes plays, especially written for children, on tour every year throughout England performing in the West End, regional theatres and hundreds of schools as well as, internationally, in Singapore.

To introduce a child to live theatre is to give them a life enhancing experience.

“Theatre, particularly theatre for children, fires the imagination, it gives our children the skills and the creativity necessary to face the world, to understand it and perhaps to change it too. We should value children’s theatre and take it seriously.”    Lyn Gardner, Guardian theatre critic.

Robin’s Winter Adventure is a collaboration between Tina Williams, Artistic Director and Joseph Coelho (CBEEBIES’ Rhyme Rocket).

Robin’s Winter Adventure is at The Hawth on Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd December. Suitable for children aged 4+.

Tickets priced £7.50 (Family of Four: £26) are available from The Hawth Box Office on 01293 553636 and online at www.hawth.co.uk

A journey through breast cancer – Angelica

Monday, February 14th, 2011

Back in August 2010 a very dear friend called to say the four words no-one wants to hear, “I have breast cancer”.

Linda, known to most as Angelica, is a professional artistic photographer who also does modelling work, so when the doctor gave Angelica the news of her test results, it came as a massive blow.

In true ‘Angelica’ style, she took it all in her stride and decided to record her journey in the hope it would help others with awareness and strength of courage.

Running for the last two weeks and carrying on for the next week in Ginger Moo (County Mall) is the ‘Angelica – A Journey Through Breast Cancer’ which are photo’s of Angelica and her journey through treatment and recovery. We spoke to Angelica who told us “It wasn’t a conscious plan by me. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer last August the last thing that was going through my mind was that I should record what was happening in my life.

But as I am a photographer it was a natural thing for me to take photos either to express my emotions or to keep a record of events. As time went on I realised I had amassed quite a significant ‘snapshot’ of my life and that it would be interesting to share this openly.

It was a challenge to find a gallery who were prepared to display work about such an emotive subject, but Ginger Moo were happy to help and the exhibition opened in January 2011″.

We are very pleased to announce that Angelica has been given the all clear!

Many thanks go to Topsy Turvy, Ginger Moo, Mayor Cllr Lee Burke & Mayoress Cllr Ali Burke, Paul Daniels & Debbie McGee and all who supported Angelica before during and continue to do so :-)

Crawley Borough Council is the face of 10:10

Friday, October 1st, 2010

Crawley Borough Council is the face of 10:10

Crawley Borough Council is set to become the 10:10 councils poster pin-up!

One of the council’s recycling trucks will get a pink 10:10 makeover thanks to the help of contractors Veolia, who are happy to help pay for the paint job and tell the town about the council’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions by 10 per cent in 2010.

Crawley Council was successful after 10:10 campaign organisers invited all

178 participating councils to become the face of 10:10. The organisers picked Crawley to model and were impressed with its eco efforts.

The move means Crawley Council will be THE image for 10:10 councils and one of the iconic images for the whole campaign, helping to spread the green word far and wide while proving its environmentally friendly commitment.

The makeover will mark October 10 when eco events will be taking place across the world as part of the 10:10:10 day of action to help spread the word and celebrate the efforts of the millions who are helping to reduce carbon emissions.

Cllr Duncan Crow, Deputy Leader of Crawley Council, said: “This is brilliant news and we’re really proud to be a part of it. We’re a very green thinking council and we’ve already come a long way to reduce our carbon emissions over the last few years.

“Our aim is to reduce the council’s emissions year on year – reducing them by at least 20 per cent by 2015 and becoming carbon neutral by 2050.”

Crawley Borough Council has asked schools to get involved for 10:10:10 and a children’s art exhibition at Ginger Moo in the County Mall will be shown in time for the big day.

Tree planting in the Memorial Gardens will also take place on October 7 and

8 where 30 trees (10+10+10) will be planted to form an avenue of trees.

A 10:10 stall at Crawley’s farmer’s market on October 10 will give visitors the opportunity to find out more about the project and grab some green goodies too.

The 10:10 campaign is an international project to encourage as many individuals, businesses and organisations to cut their carbon emissions by 10 per cent in 2010.
