Dear Shelley – It was lovely meeting you at the Mela today! I just want to congratulate you on this very positive initiative. Its a ‘feel good’ approach which is what we need you are right! Shelley just to give you some further background regarding the picture you took of Trevor and myself at the waste prevention stand. My name is Anthea Rossouw and my colleague is Trevor Jones and we are volunteer Waste Prevention Advisors, working for the community interest group Better Tomorrows. We were trained on the course sponsored by the West Sussex County Council, 3 years ago by Dr Ryan Woodard of the University of Brighton, and we have spoken to thousands of people over the past few years at events year round. I gave you the flier of. Its a great course! and its free ! it truly empowers one to make a difference and reach out as a volunteer albeit one day a month or as many as you like. Its fun and we meet wonderful people in our community ! Thanks for advertising this wonderful free training. See both sides of the flier for the information. Trevor and I were engaging Mela attendees with free information and aids to assist our community to cut back on waste to landfill.
