Voluntary and community organisations are invited to attend an information and consultation event on capacity building on Saturday 25th February at the Civic Hall.
The free to attend event will take place from 10.30am to 1pm (advance booking is required). Those attending will have the opportunity to find out about the local support that’s available in Crawley.
There will be a chance to listen to presentations given by Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex County Council and local support organisations as well as an opportunity to comment on a new capacity building model.
The capacity building model will serve to improve coordination and signpost to relevant local support services. It will also clarify the type of support that can be delivered to local not-for-profit organisations.
Councillor Nigel Boxall, Cabinet Member for Community Engagement at Crawley Borough Council said: “We want to hear from a wide range of groups about the support needed as well as their views on the capacity building model.
“This event will provide a good opportunity for local voluntary and community organisations to give their feedback on how support can be improved.”
