By-Election Date Announced

A date has been set for a West Sussex County Council by-election.

Voters in the Maidenbower electoral division of Crawley will go to the polls on Thursday, October 7th to elect a new County Councillor.

The by-election has been caused by the resignation of former Council Leader Henry Smith, who was elected as Member of Parliament for Crawley in May this year.

Nominations for the vacancy will close at noon on Friday, September 10 and a list of candidates will be published on Tuesday, September 14th.
