‘Your Day. Your Say’ public meeting in Crawley
A public meeting on the future of day services and activities across West Sussex takes place in Crawley next month.
It’s part of West Sussex County Council’s ‘Your Day. Your Say’ public consultation, asking residents their views on a proposed new model for day services, including what type of day activities they would like to see available in the community.
The public meeting in Crawley is one of six being held across West Sussex during the three month consultation, which runs until Wednesday October 27.
It takes place on Thursday September 9, from 6.30pm to 8pm, in Crawley Town Football Club, Broadfield Stadium, Brighton Road, Crawley, RH11 9RX.
There will be a presentation on the proposals and a question and answer session for the public.
Cabinet Member for Adults’ Services Peter Catchpole said: “Research has shown us that residents want a wide range of day activities, rather than just attending a traditional day centre.
“We need to adapt our service and we want to hear from the public what they think of our proposed new model for day services.”
Residents can also get involved in the public consultation in the following ways:
