Unusual marriage proposal; Face painted!
Face painting – Face painter – Pottery making were at the Crawley Celtic Festival today.
A man came to us today and asked for his face to be painted with his girlfriend’s name and “will you marry me?” We thought he might be joking but he was not. We painted it and he went back to his girlfriend who was sitting with a group of friends. She looked and must have asked him if it was a joke too, they talked back and forth and kisses and then all the friends were clapping and hugging them and she was crying and so was her one of the friends!
It was so sweet I was nearly crying too. We gave them a handmade vase for an early wedding present. I hope they have a lovely wedding and are very happy.

What a wonderful account of a great day which must have been a real fun day for all. So much dedication and a lovely choice of activities to make the town and Irish proud.

How come my cousins who live in Horley did not tell me about this?

The pictures and account make it so vivid. Well done
