Beer, Beer, Glorious Beer!

The Crawley Folk Festival
26th – 28th June 2009

The sun shone, the rain splattered slightly, the food flowed, the dancers jigged and the ale went down a treat! This weekend, the Hawth in Crawley was definitely the place to be. The Crawley Folk Festival is held every year and this year was no exception (although the weather may have been). There were stalls to entice any music loving, green fingered, ecologically friendly individual including clothes, instruments, plants, flags and spinny colourful items, beautiful hand crafted jewellery, exceptional artwork, and dedicated charities to announce their achievements and encourage any support. The food offered was exceptional and I can personally recommend the Crepes with Nutella, Banana, oh and a touch of rum :-) Shhhh, I am on a diet.

The Hawth hosted this wonderful event and very well organised it was too. Big thanks goes to Dave Watmore of the Hawth for all his hard work.

Camra (Campaign For Real Ale) where the suppliers of the refreshments and did a fantastic role in making it a wonderfully entertaining weekend for all who attended and tasted.

The 2 music tents were alive with great music and was a real treat for any Jazz festival lover. The list of performers were: -
